| What do you think? opposite attracts or not at all? there are ppl who said yes, but some experts disagree with it, saying that having things in common is key to long lasting relationship. namely, goals, interests, outlooks, values, beliefs. |

| U mean opposite characteristics?
Well, it does attracts sometimes. Depends what they are looking for in their love partners.
The experts are right about the long term relationship that same interests and so so (what you mentioned) are the real keys to it.
The attraction can be a short while if he/she din notice much about the bad side, and looked too much on the good side.
I have the experience that I liked someone that I ignore the ugly side of hers. Then after a few weeks of observing, I found out something of her doesn't appeal much to me. So I quit. |

| We have to learn to accept sometimes. Even ourselves have flaws. Not everyone is perfect, that's why we have to fit into each other.
Imagine the classic jigsaw puzzle we used to play around. You can see that each puzzle is unique and different from each other. Still they fit into one big picture in the end.
The sides of each puzzle is either holes (flaws) or rounded tabs (advantages).
For example, I like to cook, and my girlfriend likes to enjoy good food even though she doesn't cook. In the same time, she likes home-cook food.
I still like her even she doesn't really cook. You can say it's a flaw to me, but it's acceptable by me.
It's complicated, at the same time, it's a challenge we have to face. |
