| well..thanks a lot..who is kindly shout out their ideas... to serene... we need to consider the puasa month for Islam.. i think is around August to Sep(puasa)... em...when is the graduation ceremony?? We having the internal meeting those day.. and we decided to have own prom night end of Sep or beginning of Oct.. and Theme would be masquerade.. watched the videa you attached.. their still have a lot things we need to considered.. 1. Budget.. as this prom night idea based on elegant , and wear mask.. we need to set our venue in Hotel... but how much would Swinburne management will give?? how many student will join if the night become masquerade?? how much the ticket price should set to mean reasonable?? if out of budget...will swinburne overcome it or we change on students?? .. 2. venue and food food should be western, oriental or islam?? and a lot of things we need to consider.. by the way, we SSSC 2009 are try own best to make the night perfect... and hopefully get swinburne students appreciate and agree that we had did something for you.. by the way,.....we also appreciated your idea...and thanks for text here... thankssssssss |

| Fellow forumers, do recheck your spellings to avoid miscommunication. I nearly got the wrong idea when I read it. _________________ Learn From The Past, Live The Present, Plan For The Future Team mD Moderator よろしくおねがいします~

| Owh.. Forgot about Puasa >< Graduation may be around Sep if not mistaken? Confirmation from seniors please haha I don't quite remember ^^" Hmm.. Own Prom Nite? For who o? Swinburne students or anyone? For budget, if the place is in Hotel, and proved to be grand and elegant, I'm sure students are willing to pay more, some are having their last year, so they wanna at least enjoy a grand Prom Nite ^^ Coz Prom Nite gives out the impression of elegance, *ball dancing, victorian style (for me la ) so I think hafta make it special, not only eat dinner and watch performances @.@ And am not sure about Swinburne management? Its for their own good too lol For me, if the Prom Nite is worth it, means sounds grand and unique(no need very very grand, I noe Kuching hard to find cheaper place de ><), I would say RM50-80 is reasonable. I mean its just once a year only can enjoy such a nice Prom no? So far, when mention masquerade to ppl, 100% agreed its more unique and have more interest in going to the Prom XD Maybe forumers here can try survey from their side? The only problem is finding/doing the mask lo.. >< I think for food, all Hotels are halal rite? o.O As long as the food tasty, not dry and easy to swallow ok adi XD Mixed all western, oriental and Islam? ^^ Btw, not really necessary to follow the settings n environment in the video, it would be too much >< Those above are just my opinion Just as a guideline lidat, not a must to follow all hehe.. We understand its very hard for sssc to organize this, we'll help support if we can ^^ No matter how izzit, we will still say "Good job" hehe.. _________________ I live to eat.. | For our prom, we will definitely have it after the puasa. Erm, if not mistaken the puasa start at 19 of August. So, our prom night will be at end of september or beginning of october. Erm, when is our graduation?? I afraid that if we make it before prom night, it's still puasa. For cruella, you can also join us at prom nite if the event is after the graduation. I have receive few calls from ex-Swinburnians which already ask me about the prom because they want to attend the event. It is nice to have them to participate in our prom also.
So, anyone who interested to go Prom night 2009, I can suggest few place for you to look for the mask.
1. 688 2. 100% store 3. Green gallery 4. Inside Hopoh (opposite KFC) 5. Tabuan Jaya (Sheng Xiang)
By the way, Rush artistry 2 is organising a mask party on 31st July, I think it's a good experience for anyone here who want to go prom night.

| So the suggestion is accepted...yeah!!!I wonder how strict can the SSSC be on the prom night itself...some would argue they paid the ticket n not willing to comply with the mask rule? not everyone read this forum though. another video i find interestin for the masquerade videovideo2_________________ |

| They would hafta announce about the mask in their poster or when selling the tickets ^^ And I think many would love to comply with the mask rule? Since its not every year they got to buy themselves a fancy mask and wear to a Prom Nite XD hafta announce about the Prom Nite earlier too, so tat ppl got time to go find mask or do the mask lol.. _________________ I live to eat..
