| Message from where? Monitor? GPU should run without problem. If it came from GPU driver try updating it. Please upload a screenshot if you can. _________________ |

| Probably that model doesn't scale from 1280. Play some newer games with that monitor. Warcraft 3 is very old so don't expect it to run on today's resolution.. _________________ |

| You just have to live with it. Get a smaller monitor to play DotA. _________________ |

| Try playing with the settings on your monitor. What I guess is that your monitor wouldn't scale itself to the settings.
Since you said other games ran fine, might be the game itself. Try setting to the nearest resolution. I don't have widescreen to try on so I can only guide you through experiences I have had helping others.
A note from a friend: Setup -> Image size -> Auto
Hope this works. _________________ Learn From The Past, Live The Present, Plan For The Future Team mD Moderator よろしくおねがいします~

| 1)There's an alternative when you "Print Screen" which is once you press the button, straightforward open Paint and "Paste", you would have the picture you wanted. Save as jpg file for convenience.
2)I don't see that wide monitor screens would affect DotA pretty much. Perhaps you try using 1024x768 which is standard for War3.
3) GPU prob? How bout you right click your program and set it to "Run on Windows XP" method. Also check on the settings system provided by your 3D Card. 60hz to 75hz should fine for DotA.
Try one of these. _________________ |

| The monitor doesn't feed this sort of information back to the computer. So print screen doesn't work. It's the monitor that's having the problem. The computer is fine provided you didn't change the default settings.
Try scaling down your desktop's resolution. Satriakid's solution is the best so far.
