| Are you going to use Google Chrome when it's stable? IE8 eats memory like there's no tomorrow. (I'll cry if there's no Firefox 3.) Gecko (ala Firefox) is crawling in its own dark space. (Seen any Gecko on Nokia? Okey, maybe just one MID. Who's counting?) Opera. (Err... Never seen one until few days ago.) Webkit (powering Apple Safari and Google Chrome) is invading every front it can get its hand on. Mozilla the biggest loser with Google's ChromeIt maybe the next supernova set in motion after IE decimated Netscape. BTW, I'm sticking with Firefox 3 until Google Chrome is stable and my plugins ported over. _________________ |

| yeah im still concerned on my plugins... i doubt that i can ever switch to any other browser completely (still on FF2 due to incompatible plugins on FF3), but i do have safari and IE6 as my backup browsers.... maybe will just add in chrome as another backup... what may be useful in chrome might just be the separate tab processes... but then, i have lots of tabs open all the time, so FF still rawks... |

| FF for the plugins and Chrome for the simplicity + speed. Still, Google just invested more money in Mozilla so I won't see them getting rid of the 'Gecko' soon. A double standard is always great for competition. I ain't even an amateur programmer but I do know that a good piece of code is small and fast while providing lots of features. Look at utorrent. 210KB and it is the king of BT client.
Portable Google Chrome is a great idea. _________________ |

| swt.. facepalm.jpg guess u not opera user. i use opera dono how many years back. and few things actually opera first implemented, such as thumbnails and speed dails. FF is well known due to the plugins.
Chrome is more like 'rojak' browser, all the good features among all the browser campur into satu browser. Like the tab thing, drag out to make into independent window or drag tab into the exisiting window (that's safari 'idea'), the multiple thumbnails in a single tab (AKA speed dails and that's opera 'idea'), the simplicity interface (that's abit like IE7 and IE8 'idea') and etc. The only 'new' idea is the independent tab process, each tab got its own process. One tab crashes, the whole browser won't crash. _________________ Check out my blog xD |

| I think is just a thing Google is doing, like something fun instead since they don't have much major project going on for now. They might do better than Mozilla, but with their investment inside, we'll never know what they will do.
I agree it gives a fresh feel to it but in the end, its all about resource utilizations and efficiency, while retaining safety and privacy. _________________ Learn From The Past, Live The Present, Plan For The Future Team mD Moderator よろしくおねがいします~
