Im back with yet another problem..heh hee

Well recently I wantd to check out things in my external hard drive. Aftr connecting it to my laptop i realized that the laptop could hardly read the files in my hd. Then suddenly a small window. like the one when ur about to remove ur thumb drive, appears saying that "Data in I:// drive could not b saved. The Data is lost" crap.. When the drive folder pops up, it doest show all the folders n file in the hd. but when I try accessing it, the laptop terus hang.

Like wats up wit dat?

Some one please help me wit this coz all of my previous work..assignments etc r all inside my hd.

Existing data won't disappear magically, unless something sends command to delete it. Try the drive on another computer.

There are times when a USB port supplies insufficient power. Enough to detect but not access the drive.

Then there's the possibility of virus infection or even worse your drive malfunctions. Good luck with recovering the data.
