Dudes...I need help. I recently(2 months ago... ) formatted my laptop at a computer shop.

Forgetting to provide an original Windows....they installed a pirated version of it. It was working okay till now...
Well its still okay actually but every time I go online a pop up message keep on....popping -up asking me to get a license.

Well I do have an original Windows XP Pro cd coz I bought it together with the laptop when I bought it.

So does any one know how I can key in the Serial Number myself?

Copy and paste this code to notepad, then save it as wparegistry.reg , then run it. i think you can update till certain stage.
