the requirement should be teh same o same. As long as your rig can run cs3 smoothly, then cs4 no issue 1 la. btw, cs3 also can paint those 3D texture. cs4 just improve the performance with gpu helps but heard the news that it just 'slightly' improvement the performance -_- (as i expected 1, usually they like to talk 'big' but true-put is 'small') As for the GUI, if you been playing the CS4 dreamweaver beta, the interface is similar, with tabs style. It create much bigger workspace and more well-organise style. The biggest improvement is 64bit according to the rumor news, but sadly no 64bit CS4 for mac platform.
