| Not to mention silvertop has less power, abit a few hp. Parts are abundantly available since they are still racing 4age in racing circuits and not to mention in Japan. But still, expensive, even for halfcut. _________________ Learn From The Past, Live The Present, Plan For The Future Team mD Moderator よろしくおねがいします~

| can or not? h22 turbo quite famous one eh...
if you say 0-400, maybe 4age turbo got advantage because 4age is lighter. if you say long-run, then 4age turbo will lose to h22 turbo, bcoz h22 is very famous long-run engine, even called highway-king.
h22 doesnt suit in 0-400m, in my opinion, thats why many people stick to B series engine than H series.
and also, the lifespan of vtec turbo, approximately 2 years. |

White seemed to be the trend in the 80s. You know my answer. My dad loves this car more than the Iswara and Waja in our household. Prof Nazim's car looks a bit beat up. Probably a second hand one. Still a testament to its ruggedness though._________________ |

| Ah. abubu has landed. This guy really prepped up his ae80 alot.
Just wondering, you people love turbo or naturally aspirated engines(NA)? For me, I prefer NA as you get precision control all over, rather than a big burp of power when the turbo kicks in after the lag pass due to the need to build up pressure. Sounds impressive but for Kuching road, NA for me is the way to go.. _________________ Learn From The Past, Live The Present, Plan For The Future Team mD Moderator よろしくおねがいします~

| lol...nola...i din prep up the engine cos now the most important thing is good FC. so better not kacau engine..haha..so far my mod is jus 'modernize' my ride with JDM parts for the car. local spec is sh*t compared to JDM ones la...downgraded so much.
as a starter i think stock turbo engine or NA engine is better to learn la. if u wan to play, i suggest u to find another satria 1.6 and above body and plonk in a 4g63. satria 1.3 body is not stiff enough and to stiffen it requires u to do quite alot of internal mod. a friend of mine drives a stock wira 1.8 exi and to me, the car doesnt drive like a normal wira...the chasis is much stiffer and is really stable compared to wira 1.3 and 1.5. why? is it has stock front and rear anti roll bar and the chasis has extra welding points.
for my ae80, too bad its an LE. not the ae82 1.6 GL. the 1.6GL too has much stiffer chasis wif ARB. the difference is already seen on the chasis code no. same car but different code. plonking a 160HP BT 20v nonid to mod so much to stiffen the chasis d. imagine a 860kg car on 160 hp powerplant...wooot...hahaha |

depends lo... if i got money i will go for turbo, to install a complete-set of turbo for H22 will costs aroun RM9500 and above. Because my brother is doing it now. The BOV sound will make you more semangat when you driving le... lol...
To install just 1 supercharger inside an iswara, it roughly cost RM1500-RM2000. To install just 1 turbocharger inside a wira, it roughly cost RM2500-RM3000.
Of coz... it's just a small turbo.
Take a look lol. |

| Driving a turbo car requires you to be at least a part time mechanic with lots of know-how |

| Not only that... you need to be very professional about the fuel ratio, the air, and many more things... installing a turbo, i think most of the mechanics know how, but to boost up your turbo, that's the hardest thing, cause you need to modify your ecu to control the fuel and the air. so far in swinburne i only see some kancil with turbo, myvi turbo hasnt appear yet. wira turbo i think got 1, last time. |

| For my case, i can have a turbo engine or current engine turboed whenever i want to and run it fine with all the proper settings myself but the problem is i cant stand maintaining it instead of improving it....i hate oil leaks |
