I know the meaning of the word "Swine" and I've also noticed the boar before I've signed up for this university.

So if it makes you happy calling other people pigs then be my guest.
If someone calls you a swine, you take it as a joke since your from Swinburne.
If someone calls a pig... now that's insulting, either you need to examine if you've grown a tail on your hide or that person is really asking for it.

Well, its from Australia. Because we Malaysian think swine as in pig = (do I have to say?) we tend to inteprete things in a different way. So...

No offence but i can't think of any other meaning for this word. This is the meaning shown by the online dictionary.
