| Hi there, i believe some of our member is waiting for moon cake festival forum event...but unfortunately we dont organize it for this festival... Sorry...
anyway..hope you guys can share your experience on the said festival here..
Here is my experience : I was playing my game and the moon cake festival festival special quest occur... and guess what i saw? The name was changed into "mid-autumn festival" which is direct translation from chinese to english... mid = Zhong autumn = Qiu festival = Jie
mid-autumn festival = Zhong Qiu Jie
Not funny? nvm then... (-_-") _________________

| 'Moon Cake Festival' is an incorrect analogy. Sounds like a day for worshiping... moon cakes? Heck we don't call Christmas as 'Santa Claus Day' or something. 'Mid autumn' festival is correct because it is in the middle of autumm now in China. _________________  |

In China's Lunar New Year, the year into four seasons, quarterly, is divided into Meng, Zhong,Ji three parts, thus the Mid-Autumn Festival also said Zhongqiu. August 15 the moon other than one month after several months of a more rounded, more bright, also called "moon Xi", "Bayue Jie." This night, people look up to the sky-Ru Yu as the Langlang Ming, will naturally look forward to family reunion. Therefore, the Mid-Autumn Festival is also called "Tuan Yuanjie." |
